Guadalupe

I was supposed to post this on the 12th, the  day of  Guadalupe. I didn’t have time as usual, but here it is. I think it came out ok. Here is the sketch I did in the wood and the final version.

Día de muertos

So this past Saturday November First we had a show in Tether for the Day of the Dead. It was super cool. We got a bunch of posters from Dr. Alderete and CHema Skandl, toys from Zoveck, masks, etc.

The main attraction however was my dear friend Cindy Small. Her artwork is amazing and it was perfect for the show. Also my cousin Yaen came from Mexico with a few photographs, they were awesome. 

I made a few pieces for the show as well, I might post them here later on. I had a lot of fun, drank beer, saw friends, we even had a taco truck!
