I painted a few pieces for this year’s Día de Muertos exhibit at Tether. I am not that good with the painting, but I have fun. I think I’m getting better though. Here are a couple:

Last year I made some Halloween tumblers and now they finally came out. Here are some sketches I did before they picked out the finals. I thought they weren’t going to use them, so when I saw them last night at the store I was pretty surprised. I drew all of them with ink and a calligraphy pen on watercolor paper, then I colored them in photoshop.

The tumbler is a lenticular, so I did a few variations of color and positioning to make the illo “move”. Here’s a little gif so you can see what it looks like:
